I wasn't the one to decide that today is goya day, so I could not tell you. That seems as good a reason as any, though I'm certain the numerous health benefits also played a role.

Believe it or not, but goya is consumed by a significantly larger portion of tje population than just me. Also, I spent several years in Hawai’i, that possibly disqualified me.

Some people need to have a periodic reminder of what is good for them before they take action.

I had a goya-based smoothie for breakfast and along with goya champuru for lunch, and I'll mix some goya-based side dishes for dinner, so. Quite enough to reap the health benefits and get my taste of home for the day.
