 I’m looking through my fabrics to decide what to use for my Halloween costume. It’s good I already have the fabrics chosen for Hirakoba-kun’s outfit, but I’m still stuck on deciding if velvet or Alcantara might be a bit much for my own. They’re good for the heavy drape I will need, but it might also fall a bit too heavily to get motion into the garments.

 

Atobe-kun, would your dog try and eat a little vampire cape? I don’t have any experience with what dogs chew on or no.

 

 

(OOC: During his first match at Rakuten yesterday, the ballboy dropped a ball that rolled right towards where Kite landed his shukuchiho, which meant he couldn’t regain his balance. So he slammed his face against the bench, broke his nose and had to pull out of the tournament. He’s more or less locked himself away to sew the moment he got home, in a big sulk.)

I’m thinking I’ll try more fitted pants than i’ve done before on you, so it’ll work best if I do some fittings directly on you.

I like to think Yuujirou is well-trained enough to not put anything suspect into his mouth.

I’ve been told dogs favor shoes for chewing on. I’ve never seen him chew on a shoe, at least.

Small mercies. I do keep my shoe collection out of sight from him though, it's not worth the risk.

I’m less concerned about things being pulled off, and more about choking hazards. Pikky eats everything left on him too long, but I’m not sure how that works for dogs.

I think that depends on the dog mainly, some might try and pull it off by biting or with their paws. If it's just fabric I don't think it'd be an issue.

I also don't really know what is a choking hazard to a dog. Cockatiels are small and could choke on almost anything. A dog attempting to eat a small cape seems like it could be dangerous.

I have no idea what to go as this year. I was thinking maybe a cosplay, but that is a lot of work to get finished in time, and I'm not sure who I'd go as anyway.
Do you need a model for your costumes? It might give me some ideas and I'm already coming over to drop off some cookies.
(They're oatmeal, dark chocolate and cherry).

Kite-san, I am very sorry for what happened to your nose. I am well-versed in recovering from such an injury so, if you're amenable, I would like to assist in helping you to feel better. I have a number of items, such as coloring and sticker books, which will help with the boredom from not being able to do much without fear of re-injuring your face. I also have some treats from my mom that she told me to share with my friends. Since you are a friend and are under the weather, so to speak, I offer you some stuffed onigiri. If you want something sweet, I can attempt to make my mom's peanut butter rice krispie treats. Also, Kamio left his helmet to protect your face if you do decide to leave. It is pink, but I think you could use some stickers to really make it your own. Alternatively, I have a number of head scarves that you are more than welcome to use.
